Description

Begin exploring the world of basketry by weaving a flat-reed basket that measures (10 “long, 6 ½ “wide, 4 ½ “high), which can be used in a variety of ways. Shaping will be emphasized, and students can personalize their basket by selecting from a variety of accenting colors available in class. This basket has a colorful chain pattern embellishing its circumference. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to build on other basketry techniques and the use of other weaving materials. A material fee of $15 is payable to the instructor on the first day of class. Tools for making the basket will be provided by the instructor for use- during the class. Bring a Lunch.
