This class will focus mostly on music that was popular from 1950 through 2000. We will enjoy listening to music and learning about the artists who made it. We’ll explore who the artists were influenced by, what inspired them, and what their songs mean. In the process, we’ll discover surprising connections between types of music that are very different or were made in different eras.
